The key to successful dentistry starts with a comprehensive examination. Our principal dentist Dr Ogo Eze has developed her own unique examination which involves:
- A thorough clinical examination of your teeth and jaws
- A thorough examination of your gums
- Oral Cancer Screen
- Soft tissue analysis
- Intra Oral Photos
- Any necessary radiographs
- Discussion of your treatment plan including alternatives and any relevant risks
- Estimate of your treatment cost (more complex cases will be sent to you by post)
A comprehensive examination will typically take about 30 minutes or longer after which Dr Eze will discuss the findings with you. In simple cases the options for treatment will be given with a printed treatment plan and estimate.
For very complex cases, a further appointment of an hour will be required for a full case assessment. This is usually the case for cosmetic cases, mouth reconstructions, Implants and heavy tooth wear cases.
