Teeth Whitening

Nothing compares to the dash of having the perfect white teeth!

Unfortunately consuming dark-coloured substances like coffee, red wine, berries, cola or even some prescription medication and fluoride cause stains on your teeth.

The solution will be professional-grade whitening, treatment that penetrates deep into the enamel and removes years of stains
Teeth whitening involves bleaching your teeth to make them lighter. It can’t make your teeth brilliant white, but it can lighten the existing colour by several shades.

Tooth whitening can be done at any age of adulthood. Tooth whitening products remove built-up stains and brighten the enamel.

Teeth whitening can be applied in two ways. Chair -in whitening; In a clinical setting, this is a quick whitening method that takes about 1-2 hours and results in the opening of 3-4 tons of teeth. Teeth whitening at home is the procedure that the patient performs at home using a device made by the dentist. The dentist will take an impression of your teeth to make a mouthguard and tell you how to use it with a bleaching gel. Then, using your mouthguard at home, you regularly apply the gel for a specified period of time over a few weeks. Some whitening gels can be left on for up to 8 hours at a time, which can shorten the treatment period.

Teeth whitening isn’t permanent. It can last from a few months to up to 3 years – it varies from person to person.
Teeth whitening doesn’t work on dentures, crowns, fillings or veneers.

Over time, your teeth may become stained or yellowed by the food and drink you consume every day, or by exposure to cigarette smoke. Having whiter, brighter teeth can greatly improve your confidence and self-esteem and give you a smile that you can be proud of. At Dentist@W2, we offer regular scale-and-polish appointments with our experienced dentists and hygienists, and we are pleased to also offer the latest in teeth whitening treatments to really bring out your teeth’s natural beauty.
