Clear Aligners

Clear Aligners

Clear Aligners in house teeth straightening system is unique. Most of our patients choose it because it is so discreet: it is transparent, meaning that it is very difficult for others to see it. It is also easy to remove, allowing you to eat and drink whatever and whenever you choose (as long as the aligners are kept in place for at least 22 hours each day), and can be easily kept clean.
Gradually, over the full course of your treatment, our aligner will gently move your teeth into the desired positions to give you a beautifully aligned smile.

How does The Aligners work?

The Aligners treatment involves fitting a series of transparent aligners over your teeth. Each aligner is slightly different to the last and will gently move your teeth closer together, further apart or into a straighter position as required. The process is gradual to minimise discomfort and the ultimate effect is unrivalled.

What happens after my free consultation

At your first appointment for treatment, an scan will be taken of your teeth, from which a series of aligners will be carefully designed. Once your initial aligner has been fitted, you will then be seen periodically to have the next aligners in the series fitted one at a time to continue your treatment programme. How many appointments you need will depend on the number of aligners required to achieve the desired result.

What are the aligners made from

The aligners are made from a strong, thermoplastic material that fits comfortably over your teeth. The aligners are bpa free and completely safe.

It is suitable for adults and older teenagers, and must be kept in place for at least 22 hours each day.

Other conditions

Clear Aligners may be suitable even if you have bridges, crowns or a TMJ condition – we would invite you to a free consultation to determine whether you are a good candidate for clear aligners teeth straightening. If, for some reason, aligners will not be suitable for your teeth, we would then discuss with you a range of other options that are available that will help you to achieve the same result.
